| MALE CONDOMS |
|
| Condom is a sheath of rubber worn over the
erected penis to prevent sperms from entering the uterus of the woman. If used
correctly with every act of sexual intercourse, it can be very effective. It is
relatively free of side effects and may protect both partners against sexually
transmissible diseases (STD). A small number of men are sensitive to rubber and not
suitable to use condom. |
|
How to use condom: |
| (1) |
Check the package to
ensure that it has not expired and is intact. |
| (2) |
Tear open the package
carefully and gently press out the condom. (Do NOT use scissors or a sharp object and be careful not to damage
it with sharp fingernails) |
| (3) |
Squeeze the closed (teat) end
between thumb and fore-finger to expel most of the air. |
 |
| (4) |
Place the condom on the erected
penis and gently unroll until it covers the whole penis. |
 |
| (5) |
Make sure you put the condom on the
erect penis before any contact with the vaginal area; early fluid from the penis can
contain semen. |
 |
| (6) |
Make sure the condom
stays in place during sex. If it comes off, fit a new one for safety. |
| (7) |
Soon after ejaculation,
the condom must be held in place when the erect penis is withdrawn, and care must be taken
so that no seminal fluid is spilt. |
| (8) |
Wrap the used condom in a a tissue and dispose of
it hygienically in a closed rubbish bin. (Do NOT flush it down the toilet) |
